Food as Medicine

Bone broth is rich in sulfur and is needed to produce Glutathione, our body's main antioxidant. It also contains potassium which helps cleanse the liver. Both are toxin-flushing standouts in nutrition. Potassium, a type of electrolyte, is a mineral that your body needs to work correctly.

Many amino acids found in bone broth also have detoxifying benefits.

Cauliflower is an excellent source of antioxidants. They stimulate glutathione production, your body's chief detoxifier. Cooking cauliflower is ideal for supporting your thyroid. Detoxify your liver and cleanse the body without having to go on a juice-only diet.

Parsnips are used to improve heart health, aid in weight loss, and boost the immune system. They help produce enzymes that aid in managing digestive health, antioxidant function and wound healing. Parsnips also provide manganese which is an essential component of enzymes in the body.

It's not just our bodies that need detoxifying, but also our minds. Let this soup give you a new way of looking at things. Cleanse the toxins, shed your negativity, and unload some of the weight you are carrying on your shoulders. Not surprisingly, this soup can do all that.
